The healthy knee is built on four essential biological pillars

  1. Lower-limb alignment
  2. Ligamentous stability
  3. Cartilage integrity
  4. Intact Meniscus

Problems with any of these biological pillars can cause knee symptoms so it is important to assess each of these parts of your knee in turn.  I can provide surgical options for problems identified with each of these pillars of knee health in order to maintain your native knee for as long as possible

If your disease stage is advanced, then sometimes bionic surgery is the best solution. I would aim to do the minimum necessary to get the outcome that you need as so I find partial knee replacement may be a suitable option for many patients
